Change

This photograph was taken at May Day in Havana, Cuba 2009. Since then, the political attitude of Cuban government eased up and the country has opened up to the western world and I wonder, how the younger generation of Cuba’s population is going to perceive the inevitable changes of the country’s foreseeable future.

  1. Hi Gilles. Thanks for your comment. I cannot agree more with you. I also hope that Havana will not become too westernised.

  2. Their infrastructure are so in bad shape, but they have gone through the isolation. I hope that this opening will not change their attitude (I mean the way of living, with an improvement, but rather to have a change on liberty expression). And hope that it is not an invasion by the western world.

Young people will make the future of Cuba.

I have a good souvenir of my passage at the HAVANA few years ago.

  3. I had just mentioned Cuba in my post about change, too! You have a great photo.
